Real-Time Digital Twin for Networks of Assets in Motion

Complex networks, run blind

A network of assets in motion — vehicles, vessels, field crews — is a living system where everything is connected: a delay in one place causes a missed connection or window elsewhere. Operators hold plenty of data, but it is heterogeneous, incomplete and buried in noise. Problems are noticed after the fact, and every operational change is a full-scale experiment with unpredictable effects.

The solution: see, detect, simulate

1

See

Visualize your network live — vehicles, vessels, crews — on a single map powered by your existing data.

2

Detect

Automatically spot what degrades service — delays, congestion, conflicts, cascade effects — filtering out the noise to keep only the real problems.

3

Simulate

Replay a real day with a changed operating rule and measure the impact across the whole network — cascade effects included — before any deployment.

What sets us apart

Other tools see the network, plan it offline, or simulate it in a lab. Testing an operating decision on the real network, in real time, before applying it: that is the corner no one else occupies in production — and it is ours.

Test before you deploy

Our simulator replays history and measures the full network impact of a decision before it touches operations.

Models calibrated on reality

The longer a network stays connected, the more valuable and harder to replicate the platform becomes.

An integration grammar

It integrates with your existing data and adapts to future data — it isn’t wired to one format, it learns to speak any source.

Sovereign, open, privacy-by-design

Local data control, interoperable, no proprietary lock-in — a trusted partner for public stakeholders.

Domains

One core, several domains: Mobyl-IQ fuses and exploits, in real time, heterogeneous data from fleets of moving assets.

Maritime

Pilotage and port operations: situational awareness and operational simulation on a navigation network.

Winter road maintenance

Snow and ice control: optimize and replay routing and spreading, and measure the gains.

Urban mobility

Our DNA and showcase: the real-time demonstration runs on transport data.

And beyond…

More broadly, any complex system in motion.

Partners

Mobyl-IQ was born from 5+ years of research at Polytechnique Montréal, in the GERAD ecosystem (operations research, AI, statistics), with long-standing ties to world transport references and operators. The science is de-risked by non-dilutive public funding. The platform is not just a promise: it runs and has been demonstrated on real operator data, in transport and in maritime.

Great Lakes Pilotage Authority

The Mobyl-IQ simulation and real-time mobility system serves as a basis for a research project currently done in collaboration with Polytechnique Montreal and the Great Lakes Pilotage Authority.

Group for Research in Decision Analysis

The GERAD is a research center that groups over 100 researchers coming from its 4 founding universities: HEC Montreal, McGill, Polytechnique Montreal and UQAM. They are working in all areas of decision analysis using operations research, artificial intelligence and/or statistical methods. It is our key research partner.
